Wine Review: This very very deep ruby colored blend from Toscana opens with a black cherry and mild new leather bouquet with a hint of prune. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and round. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black cherry and gentle oak blend with notes of tart black plum. I also detected a hint of balsamic and olive in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. This very good offering paired perfectly with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Ruby red
Aroma: Intense, complex, and fruity. Initial aromas of mature red and black fruits, such as cherries, plums, and small blackberries typical of Sangiovese, are complemented by hints of spices, sweet tobacco, and refined balsamic notes on the finish.
Tasting Profile: Full-bodied and harmonious with modern Super Tuscan finesse and style, this wine is rich with silky tannins and flavors of mature blackberry fruit and tamarind.
