Wine Review: This yellow colored Auslese from S.A. Prum opens with a bees wax bouquet with a hint of lemon and honey. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, quite viscous and rich. The flavor profile is a very ripe apricot and pink lady apple blend. The finish is pleasantly sweet and delicious. Pair this wine with peach cobbler. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Gold colored. Highly aromatic, with scents recalling cantaloupe, sweet apricot and mineral. Medium-bodied, complex and refined, with rich fruit flavors underscored by nuances of mineral and slate. Outstanding as an aperitif or matched with cheeses, roast turkey, duck breast and Asian cuisine.
