Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Grenache based wine opens with a black raspberry and dried strawberry bouquet with hints of violets and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is very well-balanced, smooth, and nicely coats you mouth. The flavor profile is crusted stone and dried strawberry blend with notes of oolong tea and raspberry. We also picked up some hints of oak and black pepper. The finish is quite dry, and its dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Grenache with a filet mignon with béarnaise sauce or with veal Milanese.
