Wine Review: This deep purple colored Grenache from Saint Cosme opens with a prune and dried strawberry bouquet with hints of new leather and rum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, super-smooth and elegant. The flavor profile is dried strawberry and stony minerality blend with notes of rosemary and oolong tea. We also detected hints of black licorice and dark chocolate in the mix as well. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins showed nice length. The Tasting Panel would pair this Grenache with Tazo chocolate and duck a l'orange. Enjoy – KWGTP
