Wine Review: This dark red colored Chianti Classico Riserva opens with a very attractive new leather and RC Cola bouquet with a hint of blueberry and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and soft. The flavor profile is a tasty cedar influenced tart cherry and strawberry licorice laces along with notes of red currant and herbal tea. I also detected just a hint of Cointreau in the after taste. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. I would pair this wine with veal parmigiana. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red. Rich, long-lingering aromas are redolent of violets and wild red berry fruit. Il Grigio is a full-bodied wine, lean and firm, with succulent tannins and a tangy acidity. Ideal when accompanying meat-sauced first courses, roast pigeon, or grilled steak.
