Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a pleasant and fragrant pear bouquet with hints of orange. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a tasty pear and mild orange blend with hints of Christmas spice, gentle minerality and mild oak. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a little while. This Chard is food friendly and would pair well with a shrimp and herbed cream sauce over penne. Enjoy - Ken
