Wine Review: This Malbec focused red blend from Mendoza, Argentina has a rustic drawing of a little cow on the label. It is a clear and deep red color, with aromas of grilled red plum, smoke, strawberry, violets, and orange blossom. On the palate, there is a very smooth and supple mouthfeel with nice balance. It is medium-plus bodied with moderate acidity. I found it to be juicy, fresh, and easy drinking. There are flavors of red plum, boysenberry, green tea, and some pomegranate, with earthy and tobacco leaf notes. There are polished tannins in a fruity and extended finish. I would serve this with beefy burnt ends and cornbread. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: This wine is crafted under the Clarete method, arising from the fermentation of red and white grapes, the latter in smaller proportion.
Color: Pale red with pink sparkles.
Aroma: High-impact intensity on the nose, with very fresh and fruity aromas reminiscent of fresh strawberries, raspberries, cherries, combined with a soft hint of floral notes from Torrontés, which complete the profile of this wine.
Flavor: Good natural acidity that provides a very particular freshness, combined with soft and juicy Malbec tannins. Fresh and easy to drink.
Food Pairing: Paellas, spiced dishes, pastas, and even vegetables.
