Wine Review: This clear and dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Saxon Brown opens with a black cherry-cola and cinnamon bouquet with hints of black plum, violets, and currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a very tasty plum and cinnamon blend with notes of nutmeg and cherry. We also detected hints of orange, graphite, tobacco, and a touch of cedar. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and refined tannins fade away nicely. We would pair this Zin with a seafood paella or Stuart's steak treats. Enjoy - KWGTP
