Wine Review: This clear and ruby colored Grenache based blend from Saxon Brown opens with a dried strawberry and cedar bouquet with hints of hibiscus tea, orange peel, and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, supple, round, and refined. The flavor profile is black plum and gentle tobacco blend with notes of dried strawberry and oolong tea. We also detected hints of flinty minerality and marionberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this red blend with a charcuterie board with hard cheeses. Enjoy - KWGTP
