Wine Review: This clear and straw-colored Chardonnay from Saxon Brown is excellent! It opens with an inviting pineapple and kiwi bouquet with hints of lychee, lemon, and Bosc pear. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, slightly viscous and smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is pineapple and apricot blend with notes of poached pear, caramel, and toasted coconut. We also detected hints of butterscotch, green apple, and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. We would pair this Chard with a lobster casserole or creamy crab soup. Enjoy - KWGTP
