Wine Review: This clear pale coral colored Rosé from Paso Robles opens with a faint maraschino cherry and watermelon bouquet with hints of tangerine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is chalky minerality and mild watermelon blend with notes of mild maraschino cherry and saline. I also detected hints of tangerine and white pepper at the very end. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a very long time. I would pair this Rosé with a chilled crab cocktail on a hot summer day! Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Rosé was made in a direct-to-press Provencal style, with the intent of making the most crisp, refreshing, Rosé possible. Our 2023 Grenache Rosé has lively acidity on the palate with a hint of orange peel, fresh cut white peaches and carries a palate laden with pomegranate and apricots. It's light, delicate aromas and flavor pair with a mid-weight mouthfeel and a balanced acid backbone to carry the Rosé through to a lingering, mouth-watering finish that begs for another sip.
