Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored blend from Seven Hills opens with a Morello cherry and lilac bouquet with hints of crushed gravel and cola. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced round and juicy. The flavor profile is a cedar influenced Dr. Pepper with notes of vanilla, graphite, black licorice and blueberry. The finish is dry and its flavors a refined tannins linger and last for a while. This wine s ready to go and would pair very nicely with a filet mignon at your favorite steakhouse. It reminds me of a very good fruity Italian wine. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The wine is a deep red color, transitioning to magenta around the edges. The nose is rich and expressive, displaying black fruits and tobacco leaf with hints of dust and desert herb. The palate is full and opulent, with substantial firm, ripe tannins well integrated and balanced with rich flavors of blackberry, licorice, forest floor and creamy oak. It is delicious now, will improve substantially in the first few years of cellaring, and will age gracefully for at least ten years.
