Wine Review: This light straw-colored summertime crowd pleasing Riesling opens with a melon, citrus and pineapple bouquet with mineral notes. The medium bodied palate is smooth, crisp, slightly dry, and a little syrupy with a touch of elevated acidity. The flavor profile is lemon, pineapple, peach, and honey blend with notes of coconut. The finish is slightly dry and persists. I would serve this well-chilled on a hot summer day on the patio, at the beach or by the pool. If not drinking without food, I would recommend pairing it with cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: With fragrant aromas of tropical and stone fruits, this semi-dry Riesling balances ripe fruit notes with a crisp citrus finish. Serve well chilled. Enjoy Shades of Blue as a refreshing drink on its own at any waterside destination, or pair with spicy dishes, salads, cheeses, or desserts.
