Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from the Bedrock team opens with a mild blackberry and stewed black plum bouquet with hints of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with mild acidity. The mouthfeel is round and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused red plum with notes of dried herbs. I also detected hints of strawberry licorice and green tea. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins linger and last for a while. This approachable and very affordable weekday wine would pair well with a juicy bistro burger. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This red wine from Bedrock displays lots of pepper and meaty notes intermixed with red and black fruits, earth, and spice. Some of the declassified lots from the Bedrock cuvées also end up in this blend. A terrific bargain, it should drink well for a while.
