Wine Review: This yellow colored dessert wine from the Finger Lakes opens with a pleasant honey and Clementine bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, viscous, and displays noticeable, but controlled acidity. The flavor profile is a ripe apricot with notes of lemon and a hint of pineapple. The finish is sweet and lingers nicely. This wine will get better with age as it developed nicely over the 2-3 days we had it open. This wine would be a nice complement to key lime pie. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The wine is pale lemon in color with green highlights. The pronounced bouquet exudes a complex spice apple brulee with honey and citrus notes. A sip fills the mouth, rich and sumptuous with spicy apple, pear and mandarin flavors. The natural fruit sweetness is continually balanced and refreshed by the vintage’s hallmark acidity leaving ripe warmth and flavors to echo and rejoice in a lingering and compelling finish. A wine that will cellar well over the coming decade.
