Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with an attractive mild cassis bouquet with a hint of blackberry and pencil lead. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mocha and mild blackberry with notes of coffee. I also detected hints of cassis, black plum and black licorice towards the end. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins fade away nicely. This very good Cab would pair well with a filet mignon with a mushroom risotto. Enjoy – KWGTP
