Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Sojourn opens with a toasted oak, coconut and pineapple bouquet with a hint of honeycomb. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced lemon and pineapple blend with notes of walnuts and Golden delicious apple. There is nicely integrated oak throughout. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chard would pair nicely with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy - Ken
