Wine Review: This clear and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Sojourn opens with a red raspberry and red plum bouquet with hints of teaberry, pencil lead, and dried herbs. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a spiced raspberry and loam blend with notes of black tea and black plum. We also detected hints of black pepper, oak, and tobacco. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tannins linger and last for a while. We would pair this Pinot with a balsamic glazed baked salmon or with a rack of lamb. Enjoy - Ken & Joe
