Wine Review: This clear dark red colored Pinot Noir from Sojourn opens with a wild strawberry, rhubarb, and black cherry bouquet with hints of gentle vanilla, oak, and spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, seamless, and fresh. The flavor profile is blackberry and black pepper blend with notes of tart black raspberry and black tea. We also detected hints of graphite and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tannins linger and last for a while. We would pair this Pinot with a Colorado rack of lamb or with a wild mushroom soup. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Reuling Vineyard Pinot Noir is a favorite among the Sojourn team members. The 2023 opens with complex dark cherry and berry aromas with hints of mushroom, truffle, and Herbes de Provence.
