Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with an aromatic red currant bouquet with hints of red beet and pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry with notes of mild old oak and black plum and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its mild gentle tannins are subtle. This Pinot is food friendly and would pair well with fresh smoked salmon. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 2009 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir has a core of distinct flavors and aromas – truffle, mushroom, leather, cherry, berry, violet and spice – all of which say "Sokol Blosser"! With proper cellaring, everything is in place for this wine to develop and age beautifully for the next ten to fifteen years.
