Wine Review: This clear and pale-yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from Somnium opens with a fragrant white grapefruit and fresh cut grass bouquet with hints of vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and rich. The flavor profile is a white peach and vanilla blend with notes of green tea and papaya. We also detected hints of oak and bartlett pear. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. We would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with a chilled crab cocktail or with cracked crab claws. Enjoy - Ken & Stuart
