Wine Review: This clear and pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Sonoma-Cutrer opens with a pineapple and poached Bartlett pear bouquet with hints of lemongrass and light oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, creamy, and rich. The flavor profile is pineapple and oak blend with notes of Bartlett pear and golden delicious apple. I also detected hints of butterscotch and nutmeg. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time. I would pair this Chard with a cold lobster roll. Enjoy - Ken
