Wine Review: This light straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Spottswoode is excellent! It opens with an inviting mild grapefruit bouquet with hints of passionfruit and lime zest. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is pleasant white grapefruit and white peach blend with notes of tonic water and lime. I also detected hints of nectarine and a dash of white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are very nicely prolonged. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with a grilled swordfish steak. -Enjoy - Ken
