Wine Review: This clear and dark red colored Cabernet Franc from the Walla Walla Valley opens with an oolong tea and mild black plum bouquet with hints of mocha and currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, silky smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a graphite and black cherry blend with notes of cassis and black licorice. We also detected hints of muddled mint and black tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and refined mild dusty tannins that are nicely sustained. We would pair this very good Cab Franc with filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
