Wine Review: This very pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with an attractive green pear like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied, nicely balanced, and elegant. The flavor profile is a Bartlett pear with notes of minerality. The finish is dry and very nicely refreshing. I also thought I detected some slight tannins showing through at the end. Pair this very tasty Sauvignon Blanc with trout almandine. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2007 Sauvignon Blanc is effusive in its expression of the site specific soils and climate of the Spring Mountain Vineyard. Floral notes marry with aromas of white peach, lychee, lime and linden. Exotic aromas of mango, persimmon and spice evoke a mouth-watering invitation to the wine. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, the wine’s abundant layers of fruit and mineral mirror its aromatics. A crisp acidity balances the weight, making its lingering impression one of completeness.
