Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a mild ruby grapefruit and white peach bouquet with hints of lime zest and honeysuckle. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with slightly elevated acidity. The Panel described it as clean and bright. The flavor profile is a gentle ripe ruby grapefruit with notes of lime, honeydew melon, saline, and hint of lingering green pepper. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Panel thought this well-made Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with a baked haddock and scallop casserole topped with Ritz crackers or chicken piccata. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: In the glass, the wine presents with vibrant yellow and green hues. Intense aromas of pink grapefruit and kiwi are met with a hint of pear and anise, balanced with seductive toasted oak char. Rich flavors of kiwi, lime and grapefruit zest on the palate combine while the toasted qualities of the barrel maturation have encouraged a full, rich mouthfeel with a subtle creaminess from sur-lie maturation.
