Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Petite Sirah opens with a mild plum bouquet with hints of musty strawberry and graphite. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, smooth and rich. The flavor profile is a graphite, boysenberry and oolong tea blend with notes of chalky minerality, vanilla oak and fig. The finish is dry and its moderate fine-grained tannins show nice length. The Panel suggested pairing this with a venison steak or an authentic Italian Sunday gravy. Enjoy - KWGTP
