Wine Review: This clear and straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Stags Leap Winery opens with a fragrant gooseberry and nectarine pit with hints of cantaloupe. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, and zesty. The flavor profile is a gooseberry and yellow grapefruit blend with notes of nectarine pit and banana. I also detected hints of chamomile tea and a touch of oak.
