Wine Review: This dark red colored Merlot from Sterling opens with an inviting cherry-cola bouquet with hints of caramel. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and soft. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black cherry with notes of minerality. We also detected hints of chocolate as well. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely extended. The Panel suggested pairing this Merlot with your favorite burger or a charcuterie platter. Enjoy – KWGTP
