Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Sterling opens with a raspberry and pomegranate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. It is juicy and almost mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a red plum and oak blend with notes of pomegranate, espresso and black currant. It benefits from a little swirling. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins build-up and linger and last for a while. I would pair this easy to drink mid-week Cab with a juicy burger off the grill. It is a very good value wine at this price point. Enjoy – Ken
