Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Malbec from Mendoza opens with a black cherry, black plum and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and a little juicy. The flavor profile is a smoky oak and tart cherry blend with hints of minerality and strawberry licorice. The finish is dry and has relatively no tannins. This Malbec is a very good value. Open it on a weeknight and enjoy with grilled burgers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Beautiful reddish-purple color. Aromas and flavors of crushed blueberries, cherries and blackberries with accents of dark spice. Medium body with very subtle and chalky texture. Pair with lamb burgers or hamburgers.
