Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Malbec from Susana Balbo opens with black plum and black cherry bouquet with hints of blueberry, violets, and pencil shavings. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, dense and rich. The flavor profile is blackberry tea and black licorice blend with notes of blueberry and graphite. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins linger and last for a while. The Tasting Panel would suggest pairing this Malbec with pulled pork or a crockpot beef stew. Enjoy – KWGTP
