Wine Review: This energetic and textured barrel fermented Torrontes from the Uco Valley in Argentina is a pale golden yellow color with aromas that include intense kumquat, ginger, pink grapefruit peel, wet stone, and some exotic floral notes. It has a velvety rich mouthfeel on the palate, and is fresh, round, balanced, and medium bodied with high acidity. The flavor profile is a tangerine, lime, and white peach blend along with some notes of vanilla creme, gentle oak and chalky minerality. It displays a very long and tangy finish. Serve slightly chilled and pair with grilled shrimp with mango salsa. - Mark
