Wine Review: This very light red colored Pinot Noir from Talley opens with a mild red raspberry bouquet with a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, elegant and smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle red raspberry and notes of red plum. I also detected hints of oak, strawberry rhubarb and faint minerality towards the end. The finish is dry and it fades away nicely. This is a nicely complementary wine that will age well over the next couple of years. I say that because it improved on day two and three. I would decant it and pair it with veal parmigiana or Thai pineapple chicken curry. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Light burgundy in appearance, the 2015 vintage of Rincon Vineyard Pinot Noir is ruby in color and offers aromas of strawberry, herb, and cinnamon spice. The palate is soft and plush and exudes vibrant notes of cherry, ripe raspberry, and green tea. Try pairing this Pinot Noir with ahi tuna with miso glaze or grilled pork tenderloin.
