Wine Review: This red colored Grenache from Talley opens with a rose petal and red licorice bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is stony minerality and blue raspberry freeze pop blend with notes of red licorice and red plum. We also picked up some hints of saline, cinnamon, and red apple. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Grenache with beef carpaccio. Enjoy - KWGTP
