Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa opens with a pleasant and fragrant ginger and pineapple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a Anjou pear and gentle mineral blend with notes of white pepper and hints of green apple and chamomile tea. The finish is dry and very refreshing. I would pair this Chenin Blanc with creamy garlic and parmesan chicken with mushrooms and bacon. Enjoy - Ken
