Wine Review: This yellow-colored Chenin Blanc from Tania and Vincent Careme opens with a Bosc pear and tangerine bouquet with hints of honey and kiwi. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, slightly viscous, and fresh. The flavor profile is spiced poached pear and ginger tea blend with notes of stony minerality and honey. I also detected some hints of lemon verbena and white peach. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Chenin Blanc with a grilled honey garlic chicken. Enjoy – Ken
