Wine Review: This deep garnet colored red blend from Paso Robles opens with a black cherry and raspberry tea bouquet with hints of craisin. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is an oak and black currant blend with notes of stony minerality and black tea. I also detected hints of black cherry, black pepper, and black licorice. On the finish this wine's flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins linger and last for quite some time. Everyone that tried this wine, really enjoyed it. I would pair this very good value red blend with Theresa's meatloaf or with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
