Wine Review: This pale straw colored blended wine from Italy is very good. It opens with an attractive golden raisin and citrus bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with pleasant acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral influenced green apple with notes of quince, lime and almond. I also detected hints of white pepper and nectarine pit towards the end. The finish is dry and refreshing. This white wine is certainly a crowd pleaser and will not last the long on a hot day. With dinner I would serve it with trout almandine. Enjoy - Ken
