Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from Tuscany opens with a mild cherry and strawberry bouquet with hints of new leather and cranberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. I also found it to be round and juicy. The flavor profile is a cedar influenced red cherry and red currant blend with notes of craisin and cedar. I also detected hints of cinnamon and clove mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine tannins drift away nicely. This wine is very food friendly and ready to go right now. I would serve it with beef wellington or tangerine veal medallions. Enjoy - Ken
