Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Sangiovese based wine from Tuscany opens with an attractive cherry and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh and juicy. The flavor profile is a cherry and menthol blend with notes of cedar and stony minerality. The finish is dry, and its managed dusty tannins linger nicely. This wine is tasty and food friendly. It would pair nicely with the grilled wild boar tenderloin from Jiko at Disney’s Animal Kingdom lodge. Enjoy – Ken
