Wine Review: This opaque and midnight blue colored Cabernet from Spring Mountain opens with a ripe boysenberry bouquet with a hint of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is an oak influenced red raspberry with notes of cranberry and red currant. The finish is dry and its very dusty tannins are very sticky. This wine is rather young and needs quite a bit of time for the tannins to settle down. I do think there is enough fruit in this wine for it to meld together with time. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The wine begins with rich fruit and spice on the nose with hints of toasty oak. On the palate, bright fruit is complemented by balanced acidity and a rich tannin structure. The wine finishes with lingering boysenberry and cocoa.
