Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet from Terra Valentine is really good. It opens with a mild black cherry and gentle blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a mild black currant with notes oak and minerality. I also detected hints of blueberry as well. The finish is rather dry and its dusty tannins are sticky and persist for quite some time. Some might mistake this Cab for a Bordeaux in a blind tasting. I would decant it and serve it with a NY strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
