Wine Review: Over the years, I have really enjoyed Syrah's from Spring Mountain. This year the Panel joined me in savoring this gem from Terra Valentine. Their 2013 vintage is ruby colored and features a fragrant boysenberry bouquet with hints of raspberry and eucalyptus. On the palate, we found this wine to be full bodied and display a velvet like smoothness and very nice balance. The flavor profile is a really tasty dark chocolate and plum blend with notes of Slim Jim and red currant. The finish is dry and its flavors last for quite a while. The Panel suggested pairing this with impressive Syrah with beef brisket or pot roast. I also had a chance the enjoy the leftovers on day 2. It got even better! Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Blueberry, boysenberry and black currant with white pepper and crème de cassis aromas. Bold dark fruit on the palate with a savory minerality. Sweet fruit mingled with rich coffee and hazelnut flavors fill out the long finish.
