Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Franc from Terra Valentine is very good. It opens with a black cherry bouquet with hints of clove and carnation. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, refined and juicy. The flavor profile is a red plum with notes of gentle minerality. We also detected hints of strawberry, cinnamon and pepper flake. The finish is dry and its well-managed tannins fade away nicely. Our mini-tasting group really like this offering and suggested pairing it with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Rich aromas of Bing cherry, blackberry jam, caramel, brown sugar, and dusty cocoa. The chewy sweet fruit tannins greet the palate and lead into a soft and rich lingering finish.
