Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Russian River opens with a mulberry bouquet with a hint of plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and shows quite a bit of structure. The flavor profile is a tasty plum and red cherry blend with notes RC cola with hints of black pepper, dried apricot and oak in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show exceptional length for a Pinot. This Pinot would pair very nicely with duck breast. Enjoy – Ken
