Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Terra Valentine opens with a pomegranate and raspberry bouquet with hints of black cherry, nutmeg and milk chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and rather smooth. The flavor profile is a spiced plum with notes of oak and black pepper. I also detected hints of cola, milk chocolate, mild minerality and a little red licorice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a little while. This very good Pinot would pair well with a pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
