Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a blueberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of eucalyptus and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. We found it to be well-balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced black currant and stewed red plum blend with notes of oolong tea and cocoa. We also detected hints of blueberry and black cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate grippy tannins build-up and last for a very long time. The Panel would pair this Cab with a Brazilian steak, a cigar and chocolate mousse. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A distinctive mingling of ripe blueberry, boysenberry, and blackberry fruit aromas are with bright notes of red cherry are layered with cocoa, vanilla and clove leading to cedar with a hint of graphite. Forward and juicy on the palate, the black fruits dominate with notes of black currant and crème de cassis. The bold ripeness of the fruit leads into a rich and textured mid palate where the baking cocoa powder coated tannins turn soft and balanced on the finish.
