Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa opens with a fragrant quince and honey bouquet with a hint of ripe Bosc pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with fresh medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a quince and saline blend with notes of chalky minerality, kitchen spice and Bosc pear. I also detected some hints of honey and orange zest. The finish is dry, and its flavors fade away nicely. This very good value Chenin would pair nicely with a fried fish and chips. Enjoy – Ken
