Wine Review: This zesty Sauvignon Blanc from the Russian River Valley is pale platinum colored, and shows aromas of white grapefruit, dried grass, lemon zest, ripe honeydew melon, and gardenias. On the palate, it is medium-minus bodied with medium-plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, crisp, and lively. I found flavors of honeydew melon, lemon curd, pink grapefruit, cut grass, and stone dust, along with notes of white peach and saline. The finish is tangy and long. Serve chilled with chips and creamy guacamole. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: "This vibrant Sauvignon Blanc comes from three meticulously farmed lots in Blake's Launch, a standout vineyard in the Russian River Valley, each adding its own expressive character. The aromatics open with white peach, citrus blossom, and crisp green apple, followed by lifted notes of key lime and subtle tropical tones. The palate offers a bright rush of Meyer lemon, grapefruit zest, and clean minerality, all carried by a refreshing, finely textured finish. Balanced, energetic, and beautifully pure—this is ‘textbook’ Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc." - Winemaker Abigail Estrada
